Astra Foods is hiring 1 Maintenance Lead position in Aston, PA. Annual salary: $62,000–$83,000. Employment: Full-time. Maintain and repair manufacturing machinery and lead entry-level and intermediate technicians. A first-shift start time is required. Responsibilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. • Conduct daily equipment checks, prioritize tasks and troubleshoot root causes using schematics and technical manuals. • Use and calibrate diagnostic instruments; repair high- and low-voltage components safely. • Document work orders and maintenance history in CMMS and schedule future maintenance. • Perform welding, support installations and equipment upgrades, and assist with field service as needed. • Lead technicians and follow OSHA, scissor-lift and other safety procedures.
Qualifications
• Controls engineering experience is required. • Proven industrial mechanic experience in a manufacturing facility. • Strong PLC and industrial electrical background, including high- and low-voltage systems. • HVAC/R troubleshooting and repair experience; hands-on welding experience. • Familiarity with CMMS, hydraulics, schematics, precision measuring instruments and electrical testing tools. • Ability to operate scissor lifts safely. • Industrial electrician background preferred; military maintenance or technical experience is a plus. • Strong troubleshooting, customer service and safety skills.
